The Lavvu has obvious advantages, it is designed so that you can heat up the tent with a open fire or a Lavvu oven. This way you can keep warm and comfy, have dry clothes and make food indoors.
The main reason why we out-door people haven’t used the comforts of the Lavvu before is that it has been far too heavy to carry with you. That’s why Frisport has developed a light weight Lavvu.
Frisport produces three different fabric types. Two different tent fabrics made of Polyester that both are coated with Aluminum and one made of rip stop cotton for use in the winter time and especially harsh environments.
