Frisport

The Lavvu has a long tradition in Norway and has been a simple necessity for the Samians of the North. The Lavvu was originally made out of rain deer skin. Recently however, new materials have taken over and this has given The Lavvu new opportunities.

Frisport produces three different fabric types. Two different tent fabrics made of Polyester that both are coated with Aluminium and one made of rip stop cotton for use in the winter time and especially harsh environments.

Another specialty from Northern Norway available from Frisport is the Gamme. Frisport also develops tents, sleeping bags and rucksacks. All products from Frisport have been tested for up to two years by experienced trekkers and Frisports own staff. You therefore receive a product that has been thoroughly tested, despite it being brand new item on the market.
